Fly Larvae Up Kitten’s Nose

A Cuterebra fly is a large, non-biting fly that lays its eggs near rodent or rabbit burrows. The larvae are parasitic, and dogs or cats can become unwitting victims. Such is the case in today’s clip. This poor, sweet kitten has a Cuterebra up its little nose. The veterinary staff seen here successfully remove the offensive creature. If you find one in your own pet, do not try to remove it yourself. Seek proper veterinary care. Viewer discretion is advised.
